All in all, I’m pleased with the review. A few of the story details listed in the synopsis are incorrect, and the reviewer seemed to have an issue with “numerous distracting scenes, which at the end, leaves the book with important plot strands unresolved.” As a reader myself, I can understand this point of view. However, as this is the first novel in a large series, let me assure you that all plots will be resolved in the end. With such a large story to tell, fitting it all into one book just isn’t possible.
